American Dream
American Dream is an award-winning short film directed by Angela Garcia Combs that tells the story of a young woman in recovery who suffers the dangers and indignities of gig work in the wealthy homes of the privileged few. The film screened in more than 15 festivals, including Newport Beach Film Festival, Diversity in Cannes Shortfilm Showcase, LA Shorts and more. Awards include Grand Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Seattle Film Festival, Best Actress at LA Shorts International Film Festival, Best Female Director of a Short Film – Indie Filmmaker Awards and more.
